Lambrini Papadopoulou

Lambrini Papadopoulou studied Journalism in the Department of Journalism and Mass Media at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She earned her PhD from the department of Communication, Media and Culture under the supervision of Vice Rector for Financial Planning and Development and President of the Research Committee, Professor Nikos Leandros. Her thesis was concerned with the new and alternative media business models that emerge in the Greek media environment as a result of the economic crisis, the tech revolution and the crisis of trust in journalism.
She has taught Journalism at Panteion, as well in the Department of Modern Journalism at Hellenic Open University and the Department of Communication and Web Studies at the Technological University of Cyprus.

She has participated as a researcher at various funded programs, she has taken part at numerous Greek and international conferences and her research has appeared in journals such as Journalism Practice και Journalism Studies. She has been working as a professional journalist at various newspapers and electronic media. Since June 2017 she is working as a journalist at the Sunday newspaper Documento. She is member at the Journalists' Union of Macedonia & Thrace Daily Newspapers and at the European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA).
