Αngeliki Gazi is an Associate Professor of Research Methods and Practices in Media Psychology and Technology at the Department of Communication, Media and Culture, Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, Athens and a Visiting Professor at the Department ofPsychology, Msc in Cyberpsychology, University of Athens. She has worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Communication and Internet Studies, Cyprus University ofTechnology (2009 - 2018). She has taught at National and Kapodistrian Univeristy of Athens (2004-2008).

Angeliki Gazi holds a PhD and M.A. from the Department of Communication and MediaStudies, National and Kapodistrian Univeristy of Athens, specializing in the media psychology (identity and radio) and a bachelor degree in Psychology, University of Ioannina, Greece. Her clinical training concerned group analysis at Centre International de Recherche, de Formation et d' Intervention en Psychosociologie (CIRFIP) and National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2000 – 2002).

Her research interests concerns the fields of Identity, Emotions, Relationships in Radio, Television, Internet - Interpersonal, Intergroup Communication, Identity and Emotions via Μediated Experience Applications, Social Media, Mobile Phones, Personal Relationships in Technopsychological Systems and Hybrid Environments. She is a member of the International Editorial Board of the “Journal of Radio and Audio Media”, Broadcast Research Association, Routledge ed. and a member of the International Editorial Board of “The Radio Journal”, Intellect Ltd., UK., a founding member and Chair of the Division: Media Psychology and Technology, of Hellenic Psychological Association, founding member and former member of the Scientific Board of Social Computing Research Center, Cyprus University of Technology, a founding member and former Vice Chair of the Radio Research Section of European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA), a member of Scientific Committee of Groupe de Recherches et d’ Etudes sur la Radio (GRER).

She has been involved in several EU and National funded research projects, she has published articles in refereed international journals and three books. She was born and raised in the Ionian island of Lefkada.
