The Doctoral CMClub is an initiative of the Department of Communication, Media and Culture of Panteion University.
CMClub started with the aim of presenting the research work of the Department's doctoral candidates - to reflect on their topics and the methodology they followed, and to exchange views and ideas with the other candidates and the professors of the Department. The presentations took place online between October 2020 and May 2021, attracting audiences from Panteion University and other academic institutions.
By the end of this cycle of presentations there was a desire for CMClub to grow into something bigger, a hub for news and activities on topics relevant to the research community of PhD candidates (with information about upcoming seminars, resources and research programs, podcast etc.). At the same time, CMClub aspires to be a platform for communication and collaboration of academic researchers with a focus on the issues of Communication, Media and Culture.
