Postdoctoral research aims at the further specialisation of Early Career Researchers who have already been awarded a PhD in one of the Department’s research areas and at strengthening the Department’s, the School’s and the University’s research profile.
Postdoctoral research is carried out under the supervision of a departmental member of staff and may last from 6 months to 3 years.
Who can apply:
- Academics from universities abroad who are carrying out research funded by a Greek or foreign organisation;
- PhD holders selected to participate in a funded research project led by a member of staff of the Department;
- PhD holders who apply to carry out individual postdoctoral research.
