Katerina Chartzoulaki has studied History and Archaeology at the University of Athens and is about to complete her degree in Turkish and Modern Asian Studies at the same University. She also holds a master's degree in Cultural Management from Panteion University. She has taught Cultural History and Philosophy, as well as become involved with the theatre and the cinema, by participating in various projects. She is currently working on her doctoral thesis at Panteion University, with a grant from the Onassis Foundation. The topic of her dissertation is «The use of archaeological monuments and sites in Greece today: institutional, ideological and political aspects», under the supervision of assistant professor Andromache Gazi.
