PhD dissertation title: “Gender identity in Zefi’s Daraki poetry”

Lamprini was born and raised in Athens, where she lives and works. She holds a BA in Modern Greek Literature and an MA in «Rhetoric, Humanities and Education» from Athens University. She both attended and participated as a speaker in numerous Conferences in Greece. She has also published scientific articles on the poetics of space in Modern Greek literature, on trauma graphic narratives and on teaching creative writing through modernist short story.
She has written book reviews for various literary magazines such as Mandragoras and Hrinna and for cultural portals such as “Culturebook.gr” and “frear.gr”. Her research interests include literary intermediality, imagery in poetry and pictorialist poetics in literature and cinema. She is currently working on her doctoral thesis, studying the construction of gender identity through the whole corpus of Zefi’s Daraki poetry.
