She has graduated from the Greek Open University, at the department Studies in European Civilization and went on postgraduate studies at the department of Political Science and Public Administration: “ Political Science and Sociology” (National Kapodistrian University of Athens). Her thesis, entitled “Family Photography and Memory” involves the study of the role of the family photographs, as emotionally charged sociograms, in the formation of the family narrative. Her interests in research are associated with issues of cultural sociology: mass media, cultural and political practises and actions. It is this particular research field which she has participated and made presentations in, at conferences and publications.

It focus on the research of innovations which are introduced through the radio in mass media such as novel narrative and technical means, as well as on the Greek radio experience as it is reflected in public and private life ( practises and meaningfulness)
