Call for Papers

May '68, one of the largest mass movements in French history, laid the foundations for a culture of opposition to the dominant ethical class and challenged the establishment in the political, social and cultural fields, constituting a turning point in postmodern society.
In the process of searching for a new social reality, the perceptions of art were renegotiated and radical ideas emerged in relation to the perception and understanding of the postmodern art.
The association of ideology with art being the central issue, this conference focuses on the ways in which ideology becomes apparent in the theoretical concepts of art, artistic creation and the wider web of cultural production.
