The Hellenic Observatory at the London School of Economics is organising the 10th PhD Symposium on Contemporary Greece and Cyprus,
The PhD symposium is organised at the LSE by the Hellenic Observatory since 2003 and is addressed to doctoral researchers who study issues of contemporary Greece and Cyprus, covering a wide range of topics within the social sciences. In line with the Observatory’s mission, the core objective of the Symposium is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge between young researchers and to promote innovative and cutting-edge research on political, social and economic issues in Greece and Cyprus.
Doctoral students are invited to submit an abstract for participating and presenting their research to an interdisciplinary audience comprising peers and experts. This one-day event will take place on Friday 26 May. The Call for submission of abstracts is open and the closing deadline is 17 February 2023.
Travel and accommodation bursaries are offered to all successful applicants.
