Valia Karatosidi grew up in Farsala and lives in Athens. She graduated from the Psychology Department of Panteion University of Social and Political Studies in 2011. Subsequently she received her master’s degree (M.Sc) in Clinical Neuropsychology in the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, in collaboration with the Health Science Center, University of Texas, USA.

Since July 2018 she has been working on her doctoral thesis at the Department of Communication, Media and Culture, under the supervision of the Assistant Professsor Iordanoglou Dimitra. She has volunteered as a clinical neuropsychologist at the 1st Psychiatry Department and at the Memory Clinics of the 1st Department of Neurology of Eginition Hospital. Since 2014 she has been working as a clinical neuropsychologist in the Brain Injury Day Treatment Unit of ELEPAP Athens.

She has taught psychology of learning, cognitive neuropsychology, social psychology, biological bases of behaviour and introduction to psychology at private colleges. She has attented various seminars related to Clinical Psychopathology, to Statistical Analysis of fMRI, etc. Furthermore, she has been training in Cognitive Psychotherapies at the University Mental Health Research Institute. She is the author of 15 research publications in international conferences and international scientific journals. Her research interests lie in the fields of neuroleadership, social neuroscience and human resource development.

Ο Δημήτρης Γκαρτζώνης γεννήθηκε στην Ξάνθη και μεγάλωσε στη Στουτγάρδη της Γερμανίας. Αποφοίτησε από το Γενικό Λύκειο της Στουτγάρδης και ακολούθησε σπουδές στο Τμήμα Δημοσιογραφίας και ΜΜΕ του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης, απ’ όπου αποφοίτησε το 2003. Ζει στη Ρόδο και την περίοδο 2006-2015 εργάστηκε στις τοπικές εφημερίδες «Η Πρόοδος» και «Η Δράσις». Σήμερα εργάζεται στην καθημερινή εφημερίδα «η δημοκρατική» και είναι μέλος της Ένωσης Συντακτών Επαρχιακού Τύπου (ΕΣΕΤ). Ως ειδικός συνεργάτης της αντιπεριφερειάρχη τουρισμού, Μ. Παπαβασιλείου, έχει αναλάβει την επικοινωνία των δράσεων της διεύθυνσης τουρισμού της Περιφέρειας Νοτίου Αιγαίου. Είναι επίσης μέλος της οργανωτικής επιτροπής και της ομάδας επικοινωνίας του Διεθνούς Μαραθωνίου της Ρόδου.

Είναι κάτοχος του μεταπτυχιακού τίτλου σπουδών «Νέες μορφές μάθησης και εκπαίδευσης» του Τμήματος Επιστημών της Προσχολικής Αγωγής και του Εκπαιδευτικού Σχεδιασμού (ΤΕΠΑΕΣ) του Πανεπιστημίου Αιγαίου.

Η έρευνα εστιάζει στην διαδικασία κατασκευής των πολιτικών που υλοποιεί η ΠΝΑΙ ως δημόσιος φορέας, για την προώθηση και ανάπτυξη του τουρισμού στο Νότιο Αιγαίο, στην κατεξοχήν ελληνική τουριστική περιφέρεια.

Ως μέλος της οργανωτικής επιτροπής έχει εργαστεί για τη διοργάνωση επιστημονικών συνεδρίων και διημερίδων στα Δωδεκάνησα με κύριο θέμα τον τουρισμό. Συμμετείχε επίσης ως εισηγητής σε συνέδρια στην Ελλάδα.

PhD dissertation title: "Public Policies and Tourism - The Case of the South Aegean Region"

Dimitris Gartzonis was born in Xanthi and raised in Stuttgart Germany. He graduated from the Greek High School in Stuttgart and then continued his studies in the Department of Journalism and Media at the Aristoteles University of Thessaloniki in Greece where he graduated in 2003. He presently lives in Rhodes and from the period of 2006-2015 has worked for the local daily newspapers “Proodos” and “Drasis”. He presently is employed by the daily newspaper “Dimokratiki” and is a member of the Union of District Journalists. As a specialized colleague of the vice-Governor of Tourism M. Papavasileiou, he has undertaken the responsibility of the communication of the activities of the Department of Tourism in the South Aegean Region.

He is also a member of the organizing committee and the communication team of the International Marathon of Rhodes. He holds a Master’s degree in “New forms of learning and education” from the University of the Aegean, Department of Preschool Education and Educational Design. His doctoral dissertation titled "Public Policies and Tourism - The Case of the South Aegean Region" is being studied the Panteion University, Department of Media and Culture of, and is being supervised by Associate Professor, Marianna Psylla. The research focuses on the policy-making process implemented by South Aegean Region as a public sector for the promotion and development of tourism in the South Aegean, in this Greek touristic region. As a member of the organizing committee, he has worked in organizing scientific conferences and seminars in the Dodecanese with the main subject being tourism. He has also participated as a speaker at conferences in Greece.

Ο Πάνος Μητρόπουλος είναι απόφοιτος της Νομικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και των προγραμμάτων Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών Διεθνούς Δικαίου & Διπλωματικών Σπουδών (Τμήμα Διεθνών και Ευρωπαϊκών Σπουδών) και Πολιτιστικής Διαχείρισης (Τμήμα Επικοινωνίας, ΜΜΕ και Πολιτισμού) του Παντείου Πανεπιστημίου. Transfer of cultural goods between Greece and Germany: a legal and political approach

Panos Mitropoulos graduated from the Law School of the University of Athens. He also holds two master’s degrees in International Law & Diplomatic Studies and in Cultural Management (Panteion University). He works for the General Secretariat of Information at the Ministry of Digital Policy, Telecommunications and Media. His doctoral research, under the supervision of assistant professor Andromache Gazi, focuses on the cultural relations between Greece and Germany in the light of the protection of cultural goods.

Είναι απόφοιτος του τμήματος Ιστορίας, Αρχαιολογίας και Κοινωνικής Ανθρωπολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλίας και κάτοχος Master στην Αρχαιολογική Έρευνα (Research in Archaeology) του Πανεπιστημίου του York της Αγγλίας. Έχει ολοκληρώσει τις σπουδές του τριετούς Εργαστηρίου Παιδαγωγικής Θεάτρου & Θεατρικού Παιχνιδιού του Θεάτρου Ημέρας υπό τη διεύθυνση του Λάκη Κουρεντζή. Με την έγκριση του Ι.Ε.Π. υλοποίησε εκπαιδευτική παρέμβαση 200 ωρών αναφορικά με το θέμα της διατριβής του σε μαθητές της Δ΄ Δημοτικού σχολείων της Αθήνας.

Για τέσσερα (4) συνεχή έτη πραγματοποίησε τρίωρες διδασκαλίες στο Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα του Τμήματος Θεατρικών Σπουδών του Πανεπιστημίου της Πελοποννήσου στο πλαίσιο του μαθήματος «Δραματική τέχνη στην εκπαίδευση: θεατροπαιδαγωγικά προγράμματα». Επιπλέον, συμμετείχε ενεργά στην πενταετή επιφανειακή έρευνα του αρχαιολογικού χώρου της Σικυώνας από το Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλίας σε συνεργασία με τη ΛΖ ΕΠΚΑ, το Ινστιτούτο Μεσογειακών Ερευνών του Ιδρύματος Τεχνολογίας και Έρευνας (FORTH) και το Πανεπιστήμιο του York. Τέλος, διετέλεσε εισηγητής στο Συνέδριο που οργανώθηκε από την MARATHON DATA SYSTEMS παρουσιάζοντας την μεταπτυχιακή του εργασία.

Marinos Voukis was born and raised in Nicosia, Cyprus. He owns a B.Sc. degree from the University of Piraeus, Greece and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from California State University, Fresno, U.S.A.

His research interests include the procedure and the advantages related to the application of Sustainability in the Higher Education Institutions (Η.Ε.Ι.).

He has participated in conferences in Europe and he has published in the daily and periodical press.

He is currently employed as a Manager in a H.E.I. while his 16-year work experience in Higher Education includes employment in H.E.I. in both Europe and U.S.A.

Ο Γιάννης Βράιλας γεννήθηκε στον Πειραιά και ζει στην Αθήνα. Σπούδασε Ελληνικό Πολιτισμό στο Ελληνικό Ανοιχτό Πανεπιστήμιο όπου και ολοκλήρωσε το μεταπτυχιακό πρόγραμμα Δημόσια Ιστορία. Επαγγελματικά δραστηριοποιείται στους χώρους της επικοινωνίας και των εκδόσεων. Τα ερευνητικά του ενδιαφέροντα αφορούν στον δημοφιλή κινηματογράφο, τη λαϊκή κουλτούρα και την πολιτισμική ιστορία.

Η διατριβή μελετά τις κινηματογραφικές αναπαραστάσεις του αστικού χώρου της συνοικίας της Τρούμπας στις ελληνικές ταινίες μυθοπλασίας κατά τις τρεις πρώτες μεταπολεμικές δεκαετίες και τις εξετάζει ως ιστορική και μνημονική αφήγηση για τους ανθρώπους και τους χώρους των υποφωτισμένων συνοικιών του Πειραιά, εστιάζοντας το ενδιαφέρον στις σχέσεις του κοινωνικού περιθωρίου και των λαϊκών στρωμάτων της πόλης με την τοπική ελίτ και την κυρίαρχη ιδεολογία της μετεμφυλιακής περιόδου
